Harvest Summary
The 2025 Australian harvest has well and truly concluded and we wanted to take the opportunity to share some of our interesting harvest findings and AgriDigital Platform insights.
This harvest was definitely a mixed bag of activity across the Australian wheatbelt with weather causing a lot of State variation in yields. Total tonnes delivered in the AgriDigital Platform was down 18% overall with the split across the Australian states detailed in the chart below. South Australian and Victorian production was significantly impacted by the dry weather conditions but this was largely offset by the increased production in New South Wales and a number of new AgriDigital customers in Western Australia.

Typically, we see two harvest delivery spikes in the AgriDigital Platform: one in November, and another in December; and this harvest was no exception. However, the November spike this season was significant, breaking the record for our largest delivery month ever, totalling 1.05 million metric tonnes. The sharp increase in activity was handled with ease due to the performance enhancements made to the Platform in early 2024, with no latency experienced by customers.
There was a 50% increase in growers warehousing grain, with 25% of this grain still sitting warehoused at the end of March 2025. This is due to lower grain prices in comparison to last year, with the exception of canola, oats and faba beans (all slightly higher). Overall contracted tonnes and values are lower than last year for the same period. This has seen a number of growers seeking grain inventory finance given cash flow is tighter than previous years.
Prices are expected to remain steady, with most commodities not expected to reach the highs or lows seen over the past three years. As a result we would expect to see grower selling activity reasonably evenly spread across the remainder of the season.
AgriDigital Platform in Numbers
- AgriDigital Network Growth
The total number of organisations active in the AgriDigital Network is now just short of 28,000 with 2,000 new organisations added in the last twelve months. Ensuring the integrity of organisational details and removing the possibility for creating duplicate organisations was part of the many AgriDigital Platform features and improvements delivered over the past twelve months. The integration of ABN Lookup for verified business data ensures that users who connect in the Platform for the purposes of transacting are using valid and legally correct organisational data. It also ensures the in-Platform insights we derive for organisations are consistent and accurate.
As part of Harvest Wrapped 2025 we dug deep into our Connections module.. A “Connection” is defined as a link between two organisations in the AgriDigital Platform. Typically Connections are established by subscribers for the purposes of transacting with freemium organisations i.e. via NGR Sync (the integration we have with the National Grower Register) or via their Connections module. There are 51,472 total Connections across the Platform and 16% of these transacted in the last twelve months. This is a 25% increase on the previous twelve months.
- AgriDigital Platform Engagement
AgriDigital Platform activity has grown considerably with an increase in total events of 23% on the previous year. We explored engagement more widely as part of Harvest Wrapped 2025 looking at:
- General usage statistics
- Usage statistics of core and new capabilities released during the past year, and
- Customer satisfaction (CSAT) and Net Promoter Score scores.
There was an 11% increase in logins across AgriDigital Platform subscribers, and a decrease in freemium user activity. This decrease was expected by us, as we launched frictionless access to user artefacts such as delivery confirmations and contracts, this eliminates the need for users to login to view their artefacts. We were hoping this would be a massive hit with users and paid and freemium and really enhance the speed and efficiency of the AgriDigital Platform and we were right! Access to artefacts increased exponentially over harvest:
- Total contract link views - 12,557
- Total invoice link views - 17,458
- Total delivery link views - 26,891
We welcomed 74 new team members to existing AgriDigital customers over harvest and the simplified permissions feature implemented in 2023 was well utilised with team members assigned different roles. The AgriDigital Platform team member split shows:
- 24% Admins
- 42% Full Users, and
- 34% Restricted Users.
Product Roadmap Wins
Over the past year we released a number of AgriDigital Platform enhancements focussed on:
- Improving grain delivery workflows
- Laying the foundations for marking Platform data as “verified” or “non-verified”
- Enriching vehicle information, and
- Reducing manual entry and errors by customers.
Let's look at a couple of these enhancements in more detail. In July 2024, we introduced the ability for Site Operators to create Warehouse Out-turns and to date this has been used over 600 times.
We also integrated our vehicle registration with Australia’sNational Heavy Vehicle Register, improving the validity and accuracy of truck vehicle profiles in the AgriDigital Platform and reducing manual input on time critical deliveries. Since introduced in December 2024 there have been over 3,532 Vehicle Profiles created and verified, with one particular vehicle responsible for 35 different deliveries! We also now know when trucks arriving on site are registered or unregistered, important data that assists all Site Operators with their “Chain of Responsibility” obligations.
The usage of these new capabilities not only indicates the success of the feature but the utility and value it delivers for customers. The increased focus on verified and trusted data lays the foundations for the introduction of data products in 2025 as we also continue to develop products and services to create efficiencies and value for the whole grain supply chain.
Customer Satisfaction Scores
To provide a more holistic view of the value created by AgriDigital and the AgriDigital Platform usage and numbers only tells part of the story. Qualitative measures such as CSAT and NPS are also tracked by us to gauge how we can continue to improve.
CSAT is a representation of ratings given to our Customer Success & Support Team (CSS Team) by AgriDigital Platform users . It provides us with an indication of overall satisfaction with the responses our CSS Team provide our customers and the time it takes to resolve any Platform issues. CSAT now includes responses from our CSS Team as well as AI generated responses from the Obi support-bot.
Typically, CSAT sits well above 90 throughout the year, however during the harvest period we fell slightly below this at 89.6%. While interactions with our CSS Team is still very high at 94.8%, the Obi support-bot is well below where we would like it to be at 71%. In 2025/26 we will explore ways to improve the Obi support-bot as it enables faster support response times and could be leveraged as a powerful training tool for new team members.
In January 2025, we also launched our first NPS survey across our subscribers which we intend to repeat every six months. This initial Survey enables us to baseline our NPS at 9 and we will repeat the survey in June 2025.
Overall we are in positive territory on both of these qualitative scores from customers but always want to improve and experiment with different channels and methods to drive better engagement to maintain our best-in-class Customer Success & Support offering.
- Harvest Wrapped from AgriDigital
In March 2025 we launched ‘Harvest Wrapped’ with a small number of our subscribers. This initiative was focused on providing subscribers with Harvest Insights through a summary of interesting data points collected via the AgriDigital Platform. We will be seeking customer feedback on this initial offering but hope to build out the data insights each year, covering new and interesting aspects of customer operations whilst highlighting key AgriDigital Platform usage, opportunities and insights.
